Errors and what to do about them
Every failure says what went wrong in plain words. Here is what the usual ones mean.
| You see | It means | Do |
|---|---|---|
| needs reconnect on an account | The network expired or revoked our access | Press Reconnect on the account; scheduled posts wait and go out once it works |
| not enough credits | The quoted price is above your available balance | Buy credits, or ask for the cheaper model / shorter clip / fewer posts |
| too long for X (or another network) | The text exceeds the network's limit | Ask the agent to shorten it or to make a thread; nothing was sent |
| the network rejected the media | Wrong format, size or length for that network | See the network's page for the limits; swap the file |
| duplicate | X refused a post identical to a recent one | Change the wording |
| rate limited / the network was busy | Temporary | Nothing; it retries three times over about half an hour |
| this integration is not configured | A problem on our side, not with your account | Wait; the post retries when it is fixed. Tell us if it lasts |
| X API credits for this app are used up | X's own pay-per-use balance on our side ran out | Nothing on your part; it retries. Your credits are not charged |
A failed post is never deleted: it stays under Posts with its reason so you can fix it and publish again. A failed picture or video releases its hold in full.
