Inside Grok
Add AutomateSocials as a custom connector on grok.com. One URL, like Claude.
Custom connectors are on Grok's paid plans. On Grok Business and Enterprise a team admin may have to add the connector first.
Grok's custom connectors take the server URL, so the key rides at the end of it, exactly as for claude.ai. The app shows this URL next to every new key.
- In the app, Settings → API & MCP → Create a key. Copy the connector URL shown for Claude and Grok.
- On grok.com, open Connectors (grok.com/connectors) → New Connector → Custom.
- Name it AutomateSocials and paste the URL. It needs no other sign-in.
- In a chat, turn the connector on and say what you want.
https://www.automatesocials.net/mcp/sk_live_...That URL is your key. Keep it as you would a password, and revoke the key under Settings → API & MCP if it leaks: the URL stops working at once.
From the xAI API
Your own code calling Grok can use the same server as a remote MCP tool: the URL without the key, and the key as the authorization token.
